PEATC Talks Census at La Fiesta de Latina Censo Event

Rosalia Fajardo and Geovanna Heinrich Lead the Discussion
Mar 01, 2010
PEATC's Director of Outreach, Rosalia Fajardo, along with PEATC Outreach Consultant Geovanna Heinrich, continues to lead the way in encouraging the Latino community to be counted in the 2010 Census. At the La Fiesta de Latina Censo held on Thursday, February 25 in the Culmore section of Fairfax County, Fajardo and Heinrich continued their campaign to encourage all Latino families--including those who have children with special needs--to complete and return the Census 2010 form. "It's important for our families to be counted," said Fajardo.

The Census 2010 forms will be mailed to Fairfax households in the middle of March. All forms must be completed and returned by April 1, 2010. The 2010 form contains only 10 questions, making it the shortest census form in history. If you have any questions or concerns about the 2010 Census, please contact your local city or county government office.
