ANNOUNCING PEATC's 2018 INTERRUPTING POVERTY FOR SCHOOL SUCCESS SYMPOSIUM
September 25-26, 2018 | Norfolk, VA

Concentrated effort at many levels, across multiple sectors is what it will take to change the conversation of what is happening with our children in poverty. This conference intends to bring together local policymakers, community members, and direct service providers, to share research-informed approaches, discuss policy solutions and build active networks that sustain inter-generational exits from poverty so that we can help increase school performance in education especially those that are in Special Education. Dynamic local and national facilitators are being invited to bring valuable information from their field. Conference materials and all meals will be provided. Some hotel and travel accommodations are available so please register early.

Presenter and more a detailed symposium agenda will be released once the information is available.

This event will begin with an evening networking reception on September 25 and the symposium will kick off September 26 with breakfast (lunch will also be included).

Spaces are limited!

Overnight accommodations may be requested during the application process.
