The Office of Disability Services assist students with disabilities in coordinating reasonable accommodations and disability-related services that afford equal access to university programs and activities. The Learning Services Program provides students with training and support in academic skills to enhance their academic performance and success. Assistive Technology Initiative provides individuals with disabilities an accessible university environment through the incorporation of assistive technologies.
This workshop will provide students with…
• A first look at campus resources for individuals with disabilities,
• Answers to questions regarding documentation, reasonable accommodations, and other disability related topics,
• An opportunity to learn about free programs and workshops for improving academic skills, and
• An opportunity to learn more about the process for obtaining services and schedule a future intake with the Office of Disability Services (prior to your intake appointment we ask that you provide us with documentation of your disability so if you’d like to bring that with you to the workshop or mail/fax it ahead to time – that would be appreciated)
