"Dyslexia: Insights, Resources and Current Understandings" webinar

Join AIM-VA as we welcome Mary Stowe from the Virginia Department of Education, as well as members from parent and advocacy groups, to talk about our current understandings of dyslexia and resources available to address dyslexia. This workshop will provide educators and parents practical knowledge about the impact, prevalence, and avenues to address the needs of the student with dyslexia. It will also provide attendees with valuable resources that support students inside and outside of the classroom.

Guest Speaker: Mary Murray Stowe, M.Ed. works with teachers, administrators, instructional coaches, directors, and coordinators through the Virginia Department of Education and the Training and Technical Assistance Center at the College of William and Mary as the Statewide Coordinator of Specialized Reading Instruction. Mary is a certified SIM™ Learning Strategy Professional Developer and certified LETRS™ Trainer.
