A NEW on-demand PEATC training webinar

"Can food impact ADHD?"
Mar 08, 2016

There are many things that can cause a child to show symptoms of ADHD, as well as various developmental, behavior, and learning problems. But in the search for people who can help their child, parents often overlook the real experts – themselves.

With step-by-step guidance from families that have found solutions, parents can often identify triggers for the unwanted symptoms. The simple first step is to replace brand name foods that contain harmful additives with similar brand name foods that are free of them. Those additives have been shown to cause serious health problems as well as bring on ADHD symptoms in most children, not only those with a diagnosis.

Once parents see positive changes in their child they will be better able to determine if they can continue on their own, or if a professional can further enhance their success, and which professional is likely to be the best fit.
