What is a PEATC Webinar?
A webinar is a live meeting that takes place over the web. PEATC webinars typically take the form of presentations and/or instructional sessions. Participants can view documents (such as slides) via their computers, while listening to the presenter and are able to utilize messaging features for interaction and discussion.
What are the benefits of attending a webinar?
PEATC webinars are a great opportunity for Virginia families to “attend” a variety of presentations on a monthly basis. Not only are PEATC webinars FREE, but they can be attended WITHOUT the typical obstacles such as geographic location, child care, and other considerations. More importantly, PEATC webinars give families a chance to engage directly with the presenters who are leaders in their fields.
