Waivers Redesigned: On 1 September 2016 Virginia launched its new Developmental Disabilities Medicaid Waiver Program. The Family & Individual (FIS) Waiver, the Community Living (CL) Waiver, and Building Independence (BI) Waiver, all now fall under the umbrella of the Developmental Disabilities Waiver Program.
Medical Sufficiency Letter: Medical Sufficiency letter is a formal statement written by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) or by a civilian Primary Care Physician with an endorsement with the MTF.
Seconday Dependency: When a service member is financially responsible for supporting their child over the age of 21, they may be eligible to claim them as Seconday Dependents
