HELPFUL RESOURCE!

Did you know? If you cannot read standard printed books/magazines due to vision impairment, physical limitations or certain learning disorders, you may be eligible to receive large print books, audiobooks/magazines and playing equipment free of charge by mail through the National Library Service Talking Book Program.  Free home delivery of regular library materials also is available to qualified residents of Fairfax County, who are unable to travel to their neighborhood library due to physical limitations, illness or frailty.

For more information, residents of Fairfax County and the city of Falls Church please call the Access Services branch of the Fairfax County Library at 703-324-8380 during business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday or visit our web page at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library/branches/as or email access@fairfaxcounty.gov.

Individuals who live outside of this service area may call 1-888-657-7323 to be connected to the Talking Book Program serving their city, county or state.
