Three Funded PhD Opportunities in Special Education at George Mason University

Nov 01, 2019 George Mason University’ special education faculty received three grant awards from the U.S. Department of Education (OSEP). Faculty are recruiting up to 15 educators to complete full-time doctoral studies that prepare them for careers as higher education faculty. Financial packages include annual stipends, full tuition coverage, travel for conferences, and funding for research.

• ASPIRE with Drs. Peggy King-Sears and Anya Evmenova
• PRISE with Dr. Sarah Nagro in collaboration with Virginia Commonwealth University
• Virginia is for Leaders with Drs. Sheri Berkeley, Linda Mason, and Peggy Weiss in collaboration with the University of Virginia

Potential applicants must be accepted into the PhD program, with an application deadline of January 15, 2020.
