Dads Organized & EngagedThe Dads Organized & Engaged (DOE) initiatives are designed to build peer relationships that empower fathers to become more visible, valuable, and a vocal participant of their child’s educational team. DOE programming is done through tactile training, leadership development, peer mentoring, and engagement opportunities that promote effective advocacy skills. PEATC’s fatherhood initiatives increase parent engagement of dads in diverse communities and educational settings.National Fatherhood Initiative's Fatherhood Program Locator You can locate organizations in your community that offer National Fatherhood Initiative fatherhood programs and resources by entering your zip code in the site's search box. Please contact the organization(s) directly to learn what types of fatherhood resources (e.g. brochures and guides) and/or services (e.g. direct services to fathers, curriculums, etc.) they provide.
The National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse: Virginia Programs Responsible fatherhood programs exist all over the country. The National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse serves as a starting point for fathers looking to connect with programs that can help make them responsible and involved in their child’s life. Inclusion on the list below is limited to State-operated and HHS-funded local programs, and DOES NOT constitute an endorsement of the program by the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse or the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families' Office of Family Assistance. If you are looking for a program in your area but don’t see your city listed here, or are looking for assistance with a personal situation, contact The National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse at 1-877-434-3411.
